Anthony van Gog

Biography

Anthony van Gog (Antwerp, 1996) graduated from the performance program at the Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2019. He has since been developing a transdisciplinary performance practice at the interface of the theatrical and museum. To feed his artistic work with more theory, he took a master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Antwerp.

In 2021, Anthony created the performance Heartscore with Maarten Heijnens. Over the next few years at PLAN Brabant, Anthony will focus on an investigation of the selfless body. He also made crowdkill under the mentorship of DansBrabant and in collaboration with residency partner and co-producer Veem House for Performance.
